Stockholm, Dec. 4 (CED) — CED has written a letter to President Vladimir Putin to persuade him to end the war, the conflict or the special military action in Ukraine. I have illustrated that the war is detrimental and I compared it with Korean war and asked him to end it as soon as possible because it only brought harm to both sides as well as the world and many more lives will be deprived.
I don’t know if he received my letter or listened to my suggestion. But I do heard his gesture that he is willing to talk with Zelensky, the Ukraine President. But unfortunately I can’t send any letter directly to Zelensky because his president webpage doesn’t have such a page so that I can send a n email or letter to him. But Putin’s president office provided such a page and I did send three page letter to illustrate my suggestions.
Now I like to write to President Joe Biden and I tried to reach White House website, it does have a page with contact, but in the end it says there is an error in processing it. Thus I was not able to send this letter to him.
That is why I like to write it here and also I send the letter to facebook hoping that the letter can reach him.
Dear President Biden,
I am glad to hear that you also show a good gesture that if President Putin likes to talk with you about ending the R and U conflict, you are willing to talk with him too.
It is wonderful to have such a gesture. In comparison, President Zelensky openly rejected Putin’s office’s good gesture to talk with him. I don’t know if the news was right or fake, but likely right because Putin might accept the right advice. But Zelensky was fighting with a red eye and couldn’t stop. He is very pessimistic in ending this war because he didn’t think the war can end so soon.
The truth is that the war ends the sooner the better for everyone.
Why do I suggest you stop the war? Because I made a comparison with the Korean War. The Korean war was fought between the US led UN army and the Chinese supported Korean Army with somewhat support or weapon support from Soviet Union, more or less the same as now NATO and America support Ukraine. The Korean war could have ended for the first year when both sides already get stalemate or standstill in the 38th degree line. But there was a lack of mutual trust and the two sides fought for another two years. The only result was the death of more lives from both sides. China lost 200 thousand lives, the US side lost 50 thousand lives which was quite many for multinational army.
The war brought a lot of hatred between the two sides too. And it is happening now between Russia and Ukraine with the support of NATO, the US mainly and the EU. But what is the result? Judging from the current situation, both sides have fought to a fattige stage. If both sides can stop and sit down to talk as they planned, it will still be good timing.
And if you can stop by the end of the year or January, it will be wonderful.
No loser for an end of the war, it will be winner for all sides if the war can stop and peace can achieved. It will be conducive to world peace.
