Stockholm, April.29 (ChinaEuropeDialogue)–On 31 January, Ambassador Cui Aimin met with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Sweden Ann Linde. They exchanged views on developing China-Sweden relations and promoting practical cooperation in various aspects. Chief of Protocol Maria Lundqvist and members of the Chinese Embassy attended the meeting.

Ambassador Cui said, there is a deep friendship between China and Sweden. The two countries complement each other well economically, and our practical cooperation has been productive. On the basis of mutual respect, the two countries are able to achieve win-win results through bilateral cooperation. China is pursuing a green transformation of its economic and social development, and the two sides have broad space for green cooperation.

Minister Linde welcomed Ambassador Cui to Sweden, and said Sweden will enhance communication and cooperation with China in various aspects with a friendly and candid spirit. She hopes the two sides will tap the potential of cooperation, and deepen cooperation in areas including climate change.

They extended Chinese New Year greetings to each other, and wished the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics a full success.
