Since Chinese high ranking officials Yang and Wang met US counterparts Blinken and Sullivan, the EU and Britain, Canada and Australia one after another launched sanctions against certain persons to be exact 4 persons in Xinjiang under the pretext that they did something wrong against human rights in Xinjiang.
These actions were immediately rejected by China and faced strong reaction from China. Some people even said “Speak up” because “China is sensitive”.
Indeed, if China didn’t react strongly, they always thought China didn’t care. But in fact China care about it a lot.
Why did China react strongly and talk back or more sensitive? Because the Chinese are wrongly accused. Due to Trump Administration’s bad behaviour, the world became silent for some time. The Europeans were disappointed about Trump and didn’t like to cooperate with him.
But Biden just swore in not long ago. Immediately he united American partners to act. This likely was welcomed by his counterparts because they respected Biden more than Trump, it is believed.
It is not a bad thing that traditional partners continue to work together. I was surprised to hear that Blinken said South Korea and Japan are the best partners of America. I thought it were Britain and Australia are the best partners with America because they joined together to fight the Iraq war.
But now they work together to treat China as a target to attack under the pretext of human rights in Xinjiang.
If you just learn a little bit, you can see that Xinjiang’s population has more than doubled over the past fourty years. While most western countries has little population increase, the Uygors population more than doubled to 12 million, more than that of Swedish population. Why? Because the most strict family planning policy of one couple one child was not implemented in Xinjiang for the ethnic minorities. They all have two children in each family. That is legal. Thus the population doubled. How can you say that the ethnic group policy is to wipe them out?
All the Uygor children enjoy free education and their education level has become the highest level than ever before.
Your reporter has been to Xinjiang in 2018 and I saw with my own eyes that Xinjiang people are enjoying a better life now. Safe, secure and prosperous.
Xinjiang uses two languages or even three languages. They are Chinese, Uygors and even English because Xinjiang is a very modern and beautiful region.
China reacted strongly because the accusation or sanctions are wrong and groundless.
On the contrary, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying pointed out that it is the western countries including the US, Britain and Australia should be held responsible for their invasion of Iraq in 2003. Should they be held accountable for the war?

China’s intention is to cooperate in many ways, but interference in China’s internal affairs and separate the country is absolutely unacceptable.
