Stockholm, Feb. 2(CED) — The 120 people who participated in the Nordic Pellets Conference adopted a statement about using pellets to replace Russian gas and other fossil fuels.

The EU has not paid attention to the potential of pellets in its strategies to reduce the dependency on Russian gas, despite the fact that pellets use and production can be increased significantly in a short period of time.

The participants that attended the conference were both manufacturers of pellets and suppliers of equipment for pellets production.
