Beijing, Oct. 27(CED) — The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China concluded on Oct.23 with a consensus to pass the 19th National Congress of the CPC’s work report, disciplinary report and the CPC Charter.

It is considered to be a smooth transition of the CPC leadership taking Xi Jinping as a core. Xi was reelected as the Chairman of the CPC Central Committee and the General Secretary of the 7 Politbureau standing committee members.

Six other members are Li Qiang who is Shanghai Party Secretary, Zhao Leji, CPC Disciplinary Committee’s Chairman, Wang Huning, the top think tank leader who has ursered three generations of the Chinese leadership including Jiang and Hu.

The other three members are Cai Qi who is Beijing Party Secretary, Ding Xuexiang, who is in the policy research office and Li Xi who is also in policy research.

At the concluding conference, the revision of the CPC Charter has also been passed smoothly. The revision part includes that the Party’s goal in the new era has been put into the charter.

That means CPC is very serious about its central goal and written it in the charter so that every party member will know what you should do and how to do it in the following 30 years.

The party’s goal, Chinese style democracy, Chinese style modernization and many other aspects have been written into the charter so that the party will seriously implementaed the goals better,

The report made by Xi Jinping at the opening of the party and passed at the end of the conference also illustrate how to realize the goal set up by the party.

The main goal in the future is to further improve people’s living standards and meet the demands of the people in both material and spiritual well-being.

The report summerized the past five years and even ten years achievement made by the Chinese government led by the CPC.

Xi said that CPC did three important task over the past ten years, that included eradication of the absolute poverty and made 1.4 billion people out of poverty. That is one the greatest achievements China has made and that is rare even in the whole world. China has set up a good example for many developing countries.

Xi also described China’s style of democracy and Chinese style modernization.

What is the secret of China’s success?

That was the anti-corruption campaign. Xi said that CPC under his leadership found the corruption problem ten years ago which eroded the party severely.

“CPC had zero tolerance on corruption because corruption can eat up the fruits of China’s reform and opening up. Thus we not only fought against the “tiger” which referred to senior and high-level officials but also the “flies” which referred to grassroot cardres at village, township and even county level. ” said Xi at the opening of the 20th CPC National Congress on Oct. 16th.

“Anti-corruption and self-revolution are in the genes of the CPC, “ explained Xiao Pei, vice Party Secretary of the CPC Disciplinary Committee.

Behaving like a senior detective or judicial official, Xiao was very experienced in this field and he said more than 550 senior officials had been sentenced and punished due to corruption.

During the past ten years, to be accurate, since the 18th and 19th CPC national Congress, China has set up three main tasks. One of them is the environmental protection and campaign against pollution.

Corruption is the pollution in mind. And pollution in environment is a disease in nature. CPC was very determined to deal with the combat against pollution.

That concerns a lot of projects which should be stopped or suspended. For example the polluting mines, the polluting factories and polluting constructions, should they continue to work on it or close them? Who dared to do that?

This introduced the work of the Chinese judicial and legal institutions to really sue those who pollute to the court.

In the west, during the 1960s and 1970s, many companies faced legal accusations and were punished for their bad activites.

If one saw the explosive development in economic field in China during 2002-2012, one could see very determined actions in fighting against pollution. The war against air pollution had been launched since 2014 which was written clearly in the government work report. Since then, many factories or companies were either closed or stopped, submerged, purchased or changed production style.

A war against environmental protection was launched and the campaign of protecting the blue sky was fought.

Xi Jinping proposed a golden rule, that was that the green mountain and clean water are also mountain of gold and silver. This idea was put up forward in the government work report and the party work report. It is easily remembered by every Chinese official, teachers and many other people.

Through ten years concerted unremitting efforts, China made great progress in reducing the pollutants of PM2.5 in the air, pollutants in the water and soil.

All the provinces have changed their development strategy and deployment towards green development and harmonious development between man and nature.

China has really changed for the better!

And now, Xi declared that China has entered a new era and a new journey. This new journey is to continue to further improve people’s living standards by further opening up, creating a peaceful environment and rely on both domestic and international investment.

In order to change the imbalanced trade situation, China has imported more from the outside world and tried to melt in the big family of the world.

Xi promised China will continue to improve education, culture, information industry and continue to fight against corruption.

Chinese economy will not develop as fast as before in GDP growth rate, but the collective quantity will continue to increase substantially.

Chinese people will not only enjoy material satisfaction, but also enjoy cultural, spiritual wellbeing to make life more meaningful.

Many people think China now only want to develop domestically, but not opening up to the outside world. That is not true.

China’s intention is to devleop both domestically and internationally. But these past three years, due to the covid-19, international communication has been suspended.

It is believed that China will open even more next year. China will become even better in the future.
