Stockholm, May 6(ChinaEuropeNet)–What makes Yarmamet Himit happy nowadays, is that he can give money back to his mom each month.

Himit, a young villager in Moyu County of Hotan Prefecture, recently came to work in the regional capital of Urumqi, helped by a government policy to boost employment.

He was homesick at the beginning, but with the help of colleagues, he gradually got accustomed to life in the city.

Now he’s earning a stable salary, and can send money back to his family each month.

“I’m now more hopeful about the future. I want to learn more knowledge and skills so that I can keep on staying here,” said Himit.
